According to the Indianapolis Star's Curt Cavin, the new "radical" chassis design is by former Lola engineer and current Chip Ganassi engineer, Ben Bowlby. It's said to look like a cross between a sports car and a motorcycle, but has the support of Tony George, Chip Gannassi, and Michael Andretti, 3 of the powerhouses in the IZOD Indycar Series paddock.
Although Dallara has a chassis which is similar to the current formula that is still up for consideration, when John Lewis was on Trackside last night, it sure seemed like they were leaning towards the "radical" design.
