- Byrd Brothers, with partner team KV Racing Technology, have announced a return to the Indianapolis 500 in 2015 with Bryan Clauson.

Indy 500 Entry List Released

The 2009 Indianapolis 500 entry list was released today, with few surprises.

Here are some of the highlights:
  • Roth has 2 entries the #25 & #52, he is not listed as the driver for either car
  • Rahal Letterman has #17 entered, but it's not looking good for them
  • KV has a 3rd car entered, rumored to be for either Servia or Bell
  • Quatro is listed to pilot the #41 for his grandad
  • Foyt has the #48 listed as a 3rd car with no driver
  • Coyne has a 2nd car, no driver
  • Vision has a 3rd car, no driver
  • D&R has the #23 car entered with no driver, giving them 4 total
  • Conquest has 2, Tags is not entered for either one
  • Sarah Fisher has a 2nd entered, #68
  • Hemelgarn has the #91 entered, quite possibley Buddy Laziers, but not confirmed

  3. I hope whoever is driving Hemelgarn's car doesn't put it in the wall before the race or they will be in trouble, same with the second SFR car.

  5. I see Rice going to Rahal/Letterman -- Just makes sense to me. What about Tomas Scheckter? He was supposed to be at 3G, but they only have the one car. I hope KV puts him in th #8...
