(Photo Courtesy of Indy500.com)Today at the Indiana Statehouse, Scott Dixon, Chip Ganassi, and Joie Chitwood were on hand for the 09' ticket unveiling. The ticket stays in line with the tradition of the previous years winners face and car depicted on the front, but it is also a return to old tradions of the horizontal format, and "500 Mile Sweepstakes" replacing the recently used "500 Mile Race".

In other Indianapolis 500 news, Alex Lloyd has been confirmed to pilot the #99 Ganassi/Sam Schmidt Dallar for the upcoming 500.
