COO Koretzky Resigns

Joining INDYCAR in May 2011, Marc Koretzky has resigned his position as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.

Originally holding the Director of Business Development title, Koretzky was promoted to oversee 'day-to-day operations and fostering communication and synergies across the company's commercial and operations units' as COO last December after managing commercial activities and non-racing events around the 2011 IZOD INDYCAR World Championships.

"We wish Marc the best of luck as he moves on to the next chapter in his career," said Randy Bernard, CEO, INDYCAR.

According to the release: 'The responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer will be split among current INDYCAR staff members for the interim as the organization evaluates long-term staffing plans.'
