Bolstering their technical staff, INDYCAR has announced the addition of Daniel Louks to league's 2012 engine support staff.
A former assistant engineer on Takuma Sato's KV Racing Technology crew, Louks will be:
"tasked with checking engine manufacturer compliance with the series' rules and ECU status among other duties. Louks also will oversee the application of a torque sensor new for the 2012 season, which will keep track of power levels between the three engine manufacturers."Following laps on the Homestead-Miami Speedway oval by Tony Kanaan, JR Hildebrand, and Scott Dixon, the DW12 will return to the track at Sebring International Raceway next week.
