UPDATE: E.J. Viso posted on his Facebook page "Safe. Thanks to all of you for the speed recovery messages. Just a couple of bruises and a little bit of pain. But my spirit still @ the Track. Will be back on track very soon."
UPDATE: Viso has been released from Methodist Hospital, but still needs to be cleared by IMS doctors to drive.

E.J. Viso, who crashed hard in Turn 1 with just a few minutes lefter in Tuesday's practice is awake and alert. Viso was transported by ground to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis complaining of back pain. Stay tuned for updates.....
