Jewel To Sing National Anthem

3-time Grammy nominee, Jewel, has signed on to sing the National Anthem at the 94th Indianapolis 500 on May 30th. The Utah native who grew up in Alaska will celebrate her birthday on Bump Day, just one week before the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

Other notable events include:

"On the Banks of the Wabash" - Purdue University Band
"America the Beautiful" - Major Lisa Kopczynski
"God Bless America" - Florence Henderson
National Anthem - Jewel
Invocation - Archbishop Daniel Buechlein
"Back Home Again in Indiana" - Jim Nabors
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Engines" - Mari Hulman George

She'll do an outstanding job. Not that surprising as she's married to 'Nardo's PBR buddy Ty Murray.

Jim Nabors. That's all I needed to see.

Four weeks from today. It's May.

I'm under the impression the IRL has scraped the national anthem from all broadcasts, sooo, who cares?

About 350,000 people there, last Anonymous fella.
