IndyCar Announces 2017 Schedule

INDYCAR, the sanctioning body for the Verizon IndyCar Series, announced the 2017 schedule this afternoon.

In addition to the 16 returning events, Gatway Motorsports Park find itself on the schedule for the first time since 2003.

3 - Sunday, April 23 - Barber
4 - Saturday, April 29 - Phoenix
5 - Saturday, May 13 - Grand Prix of Indianapolis
6 - Sunday, May 28 - Indianapolis 500
7 - Saturday June 3 - Belle Isle
8 - Sunday, June 4 - Belle Isle
9 - Saturday, June 10 - Texas 
10 - Sunday,  June 25 - Road America
11 - Sunday, July 9 - Iowa
12 - Sunday, July 16 - Toronto
13 - Sunday, July 30 - Mid-Ohio
14 - Sunday, August 20 - Pocono
15 - Saturday, August 26 - Gateway
16 - Sunday, September 3 - Watkins Glen
17 - Sunday, September 17 - Sonoma
