The highly successful Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will continue through at least 2020. The City Council voted to extend Green Savoree Racing Promotions' license to organize the even on November 12th.

"The City of St. Petersburg has a special place in the history of racing, and we look forward to running the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg here for years to come."
In addition to the March 11-13 race weekend in 2016, March 9-12 in 2017 and March 8-11 in 2018 were also confirmed dates.
