As I wrote last Thursday on the 16th&Georgetown Facebook page, shortly after the Title Sponsorship announcement Ryan Hunter-Reay would sign with a competitive team. But what I didn't know, was what team.
According to SPEEDtv, Ryan Hunter-Reay is closing in on a 2010 ride with Michael Andretti's Indycar team in 2010. With backing for IZOD, RHR has reportedly been negotiating with the team for several weeks, only saying "Something good is on the horizon but it's not done yet and I can't talk about it."

Hunter-Reay's destination is the first domino to fall.
-Hunter-Reay and his big IZOD dollars get him the AGR 4th car ride. Hopefully this money also helps Marco's program as well. This team was a disaster last year, so literally anything will be an improvement.
-The Formula Dream money is now out there. Don't know if Mutoh or Sato will be the driver. If its Sato, then it will go to deFerren's team. If its not (which is most likely), then Mutoh lands with Panther (2nd car) or possibly Coyne (2nd car).
-Hildebrand will eventually put something together with KV. Don't know if it will be a full-season deal or not, but Indy Car knows they must not let this young man slip through the cracks. Having the Indy Lights champion in the series, is important for BOTH Indy Car and Indy Lights. And the fact that he is an American only makes it better. Moraes in the #5, Tracy (for selected races) in the #15 and Hildebrand in the #25 (with possible sponsorship from AFS and Gary Peterson) could be KV's 2010 lineup, if Vasser has his way.
-I think Bobby Rahal and Eddie Wachs are talking. Would be a solid, sensable match, if that is the way Wachs and Edwards go.
